    Description

    Currently available is this unissued M-1916 Holster for the M-1911 .45 pistol made by the Boyt Leather Harness Co. of Osceola, Iowa in 1945.  Designed to carry the M-1911 .45 cal. automatic pistol, this holster was issued to officers, senior NCOs, machine gunners and Military Police.  This holster is made of heavy brown leather with a flap closure and M-1910 wire frog for attaching to the pistol belt and is also slotted for the leather belt and a leather belt adapter.  This holster is in good used condition.
