    This eBay listing is for a used/vintage military ammo can that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above.   I believe this is from the Vietnam era.   The side of the ammo can reads: 1000 Cal .45 Cartridges, Ball B1911, cartons, lot WCC 6571.   The outside is marked on the bottom with S.C.F. and on the underside of the side latch is marked NL Co inside a hallmark.   This open and closes with no problem at all!!
