Description

This is a gold bas-relief plaster wall plaque which is taken from the 15th century Italian artist Donatello’s portrait of the Contessa de Bardi. She is a protected here at Saint Cecelia in the guise of Artemis. The chalkware relief plaque has a very beautiful gold surface. It is an overall excellent preowned condition which has a very small amount of gold loss on the back of the plaque. It is approximately 6 1/2” x 9 1/2” by three-quarter inches and measurements are also shown in the photographs.
