USGI "Rubber Lady" Pneumatic Air Mattress Sleeping Pad
. Officially know as: Mattress, Pneumatic, (Insulated) but affectionately know as a "Rubber Lady". Introduced during the Vietnam war this Genuine US Army Military Issue air mattress was used by troops through the late 1980's. Mattress features a large quick inflate / deflate valve with attached rubber stopper and is made of heavy duty rubber with insulating batting on the inside. I inflated this specific mattress with a shop-vac in a matter of seconds and it held air well. There is no guarantee as to how long it will stay inflated as anyone who has ever used one of these know that they are notorious for slowly loosing air while sleeping on them. This particular mattress was manufactured in September 1986 and is being offered AS-IS as a collectors item and is non returnable.
