    USGI M1956 buttpack adapter.
    Please read condition description and see pics.
    Adapter is new-old stock, unissued with original string still on it! These were looped through the M1956 suspenders to attach the buttpack higher up on the wearer's back (as shown in the last pic). Contract dated 1966 (DSA-100), it does have some verdigris on the hardware, but this will wipe off with a wet rag.
