The VM-1 Voltage Gauge checks 60 times per second to immediately alert you to dangerous low or high voltage that can threaten your car audio gear. The VM-1 monitors the DC (Direct Current) voltage from your battery, or directly from your amplifier. The VM-1 uses a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter for near real-time precision readings.
When the voltage dips too low, you’ll see a ‘Lo’  voltage warning flash. This is especially important for stock charging systems powering amplifiers requiring more than 1000 watts RMS. During voltage spikes, a “Hi” voltage warning will alert you when the voltage reaches the upper limit.
