Offered is a very rare package of items from the 50th Anniversary of the Porsche Speedster held in 2004 on the Monterey Peninsula in California. This was a huge gathering carefully orchestrated to celebrate the Porsche Speedster. This unique package includes:
1. Super rare embossed leather sleeved/boxed copy of the book "Speedster 50th Anniversary: Celebration of an Icon" by Heinrichs, Edwards, Dryer and Thoms.      This is a super rare example as very few of the leather sleeved books were produced. Still in the original shrink wrap and mailing box.
2. Heavy enameled grille badge produced for the event, still in original sealed packaging.
3. Lapel pin, a miniature example of the grille badge, still in original packaging.
4. Event "Passport", the schedule of events for the gathering done in the style of a passport.
5. Special Del Monte Forest entry badge prepared in the style of the official Pebble Beach resident's entry grille badge, in this case # 238.
6. Large event poster by renowned artist Roy E. Dryer III, signed by the artist.
7. Small replica sheet of the poster along side a sample of the Del Monte Forest Badge.
The book shown in the photos in this auction is another example used only for the purposes of taking pictures for this auction. It is identical to the unopened book inside the rare special embossed sleeve.
This in a rare opportunity to acquire the limited edition sleeved/boxed embossed book together with all of the other memorabilia from this important event. A must have for the Porsche connoisseur. We have not been able to find a record of another sale of the embossed sleeved book, very few were produced.
